Clear Carbon Consulting will work as a subcontractor to The Cadmus Group to support ESIB’s various clean energy voluntary programs. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Air and Radiation (OAR), Climate Protection Partnership Division (CPPD), Energy Supply and Industry Branch (ESIB) is responsible for a range of successful, voluntary climate change programs that reduce greenhouse gas emissions by creating and expanding markets for clean energy (distributed generation, renewable energy and green power, combined heat and power, energy efficiency, and other clean energy options). Work also includes the investigation of clean energy technologies and utility policy options such as those in the renewable energy, distributed generation, green power, combined heat and power, and demand response sectors, and development of new and innovative strategies for reducing carbon emissions such as energy efficiency credits, emissions trading, renewable energy certificates, white tags, carbon offsets, carbon neutral programs, and other mechanisms and instruments to reduce carbon emissions.
