A Fortune 50 company required an objective third party to review their corporate GHG inventory and review their GHG management plan.
Solution:
Clear Carbon Consulting reviewed the company’s energy and GHG data to evaluate emissions inventory boundary conditions, change controls, base year, emissions quantification methods, and information management practices. To perform the audit, Clear Carbon Consulting examined corporate documents, interviewed corporate staff, and performed a desktop review of corporate data. Utilizing Clear Carbon Consulting’s GHG Protocol-based auditing checklist, our team created a detailed report which identifies areas for improvement and necessary corrective actions.
